Framing
Lee Frame Shop was originally established in 1932 to frame art and very little more. As the years went by, the sale of posters and fine art slowly evolved. Today, picture framing is still a very important part of our operation. In the twelve years we have owned the business, we have seen a tremendous change in the selection of both mats and frames. The companies have become very innovative and so customers have a much wider selection than in years past. We have also seen great changes in equipment. While we have had the latest equipment in most areas, frame cutting, glass and foam sizing and under pinning, we were still cutting mats on a manual cutter. Recently we leased a Wizard computerized mat cutting system. The machine will cut not only standard cuts but also will do any kind of fancy cut, from V grooves to fancy ovals. We are very exited about the future of our business.
